Top NY restaurant chain taps Allstar Systems and URC to deploy smart commercial automation to enable immersive entertainment for its patrons
The Recovery Sports Grill®, where sports energy combines with great food and hand-crafted beer options, tapped Allstar Systems of Fort Ann, NY an automation system designer and installer, to create entertaining, branded dining environments.
Recovery Sports Grill, managed by BBL Hospitality, started as the Recovery Room Sports Grill in 2007. Located near The Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, the name was derived from the restaurant’s proximity to the hospital. The concept started with the Recovery Room serving as a getaway for those experiencing trying times, while connected with the community as a sports entertainment option. Today, there are 10 restaurants in five states. Owner Don Led Duke created a vision of a family-oriented restaurant which continues as the company grows. Recovery Sports Grill is not just passionate about sports, but also dedicated to creating a fun and exciting environment focused on bringing the local community together over great food and beverages.
As the company expanded, ownership realized that great food and beverage combined with immersive entertainment must be impactful, easy to implement and simple to maintain.

This enabled Recovery Sports Grill to move beyond traditional design and operation approaches, it uses systems technology to:
